RATIONALE

A considerable number of individuals opt for VoIP.ms as a cost-effective substitute for traditional mobile voice plans. However, this choice often complicates the process of sending text messages, as the VoIP.ms SMS Message Center is primarily designed as a diagnostic tool intended for desktop browser use rather than providing a user-friendly experience on mobile devices.

Although VoIP.ms offers a mobile version of its interface with an updated UI, it still lacks essential features that can enhance usability, which are typically available through a dedicated application.

INSTALLATION

The version available on Google Play utilizes closed-source Firebase libraries to enable push notifications and assist with crash reporting and analytics, among other functionalities. In contrast, the F-Droid version of the application is fully open source.
